Today was the first day of not wearing a mask. It was bizarre. I felt naked without it. It was also the added fun of the fact that I’ve never seen any employees outside of management without masks, so there were a few people that I legit didn’t recognize. There was also a few people that made me think, “that’s what you look like?” It was weird.
In trying to become more organized and manage my time better, I’ve been shaking up a number of my routines. So far things are working out pretty well. I’m finding that I have more time to do things, and less pressure to do things. I’m cautiously optimistic that I’m turning over a new leaf. Some things are going to take time, and some things will need to be tweaked, but all in all it’s a good start.
Only three more (working) days until vacation. I’m trying to make plans to get some projects done, see some friends, throw a party, and get the house in order.
I’ve got nothing else for today. I’m assuming I’ll have more to talk about on Wednesday once I’m more in the meat of things – planning, routines, day to day stuff. I’m also trying to get to bed early so I don’t want to dive too deep into any one thing tonight.
Hope you have a great day!
